Bentley’s bride featured in Ocassions Magazine

Finally, the blog full of photos from one my favorite weddings. Mallory and Scott’s Bentley’s on the Bay wedding was just given a 5 page spread in the new issue of Occasions Magazine Florida. Feast your eyes on the fabulous details of the wedding the bride describes as an Etsy wedding.
“I like to say my theme was ‘Vintage Glam’ but when I look back I realize I probably made up a new style called: “Etsy!” My wedding turned into quite the Etsy-fest.” Mallory

Favorite Photo Friday

This is what it is all about! I adore getting cards, pictures and eventually…baby announcements from our past brides. I just received this sweet Christmas card with a heartfelt note written inside from the Hudson’s. We truly enjoy taking part in the one of the most important days of a couples lives. :) I feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Rain, Rain, Go away……

Oh no, the dirty word of wedding planning. RAIN! We have many options at our venues for unexpected weather including tenting the outdoor areas. Take a look at the reception of Sara and Chris at Bentley’s on the Bay and notice the tent created a warm, romantic feel to the evening. Florals by The Sea did an excellent job creating the space into a warm and inviting atmosphere. By the end of the evening all was dry and the newlyweds lived happily ever after!

Nautical Wedding – Bentley’s

Chelsea and Andy decided on a chic nautical theme for their nupitals on the bay. The clean color palette of navy and white enhanced the beauty of the bay side landscape. Chelsea had every detail covered from the programs to the chocolate dipped oreo dessert with the anchor embellished on them. I have to say I was extra delighted to receive a few jars of that homemade jam, YUM!

Favorite Photo Friday

Today marks the start of a new feature on our blog…Favorite Photo Friday. Every Friday a staff member will pick one of their favorite photos to share with you. Up first, is one of my (Laura) favorites from a recent Fall wedding. Two local girls, our beautiful bride, Brittany and her MOH, Jessica, being silly and having a great time pre-ceremony. Not only are the faces too cute but the room is amazing for photos and come on, what girl wouldn’t love all that pink! This room is actually our cake tasting room for our in house bakery, Sugarlilly Sweet Shop.

Shabby Chic Wedding by the Bay – Cabana Blue

If the wedding of Shannon and David at Cabana Blue looks familiar it should, it was a feature on Martha Stewart’s wedding blog. The shabby chic feel fit the bride perfectly and it all flowed together so beautifully that it is no wonder it was picked up by the popular blog. The ceremony was held on the garden deck at Cabana Blue and could not have been a more romantic spot to tie the knot. Guests danced the night away to the well known local band Dred Clampitt and a sweet ending to the night was the cake and cake pops designed by the talented girls at our very own Sugarlilly’s Sweet shop.
